Not the coldest winter

I wasn’t surprised by the weather during
my winter break in Veracruz so I packed clothes that I could wear on a normal
day in Mexico city or Puebla, I enjoyed
my vacations wearing ankle boots instead of sandals and jeans instead of shorts
or mini skirts, it’s the only time of the year that I can finally dress up
without burning myself in the attempt.

Meanwhile, I’m in DF in the comfort of my
sofa wearing flannel trousers, two sweaters, double pair of socks and a cozy
blanket. I have no doubt that winter
arrived to this city.

No me extrañó el clima templado durante mis vacaciones de invierno en Veracruz, por eso empaqué prendas que podría vestir en un día normal en DF o Puebla, tal vez por la calle me vieron un poco descontextualizada con botas en vez de sandalias y pantalones en vez de shorts o faldas, pero creo que es la única vez que puedo darme el lujo de vestir así en el Puerto, así que lo disfruté como nunca.

Mientras tanto, estoy en DF en la comodidad de mi sofá usando dos sueteres, doble par de calcetas, pantalones de franela y un cobertor, no me cabe duda que el invierno sí llegó a estos rumbos.
